What is CAD?

CAD is an acronym which refers to the phrase 'Computer-Aided-Design'. It is a form of technology used to create precise 3D (three-dimensional) drawings and models of objects. It allows designers and engineers to build digital 3D models that can be easily modified, analyzed, and optimized before physical production. It's like drawing a blue-print you make on your computer.
